Giving

Giving is part of how we grow

Thank you for your support!

We believe that the Bible teaches us to give a portion of our income to church.  To give please scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Use of the funds

Practically the funds are used for the rental and maintenance of the building that we occupy, the salary of our church administrator and materials used for teaching,

The church also tithes a proportion of the giving it receives.  By law the church association is restricted to whom it can give funds.   We are only permitted to give to other associations that have the same legal nature as ourselves.

How to give

If you are a regular member of the church then we recommend that you arrange a monthly direct debit with your bank as this will incur the least cost. The IBAN details of Cornerstone and Cornerway are provided below:

Income tax benefits

If you pay income tax in France and you give to the church then the donation that you make may be deducted from your income tax liability. At present the deduction is 66% of the amount given (assuming that your gift is less than 20% of your income.)

As Our pastor says, if you pay tax in France then the government makes it very difficult to pay 10% of your income, because they give you 66% back.  In other words if you give €100 then you will receive €66 as a tax deduction.

Tax deductions are also available for companies as well as individuals who pay real estate wealth tax.

Financial control

The rules governing the association and the statutes stipulating our association require that there is an administrative council that governs the administrative and financial affairs of the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Association.  The council is made up of three members who are elected by the assembly.  They are a president, an administrator and a secretary.  The council meets regularly and there is an annual general assembly meeting where the financial statements are reviewed and approved.

Financial help

As the church is not able to give funds to individuals or to charities that are not churches, another association exists to do this.  The Cornerway Association has as its aims, the provision of funds to individuals, the running of a bookshop and the financing of events.

Thank you very much for your giving.
